Welcome to the 26th Ward Newsletter! ⭐️

To My 26th Ward Neighbors,

Thank you to everyone in our community for electing me to serve you as your 26th Ward Alderperson. I am deeply humbled by your support, and I want to assure you that I am going to work day and night to make sure that your concerns are heard and addressed. I am honored to represent such a beautiful and diverse district in the City of Chicago and I want you to know that I am dedicated to serving you. As an organizer and educator, I know that when we collaborate as members of one community, we can accomplish a great many beautiful things.

As your 26th Ward Alderperson I am committed to: 1) Sustaining residents in the 26th ward with affordable housing, affordable homeownership opportunities, and investments to house individuals experiencing homelessness; 2) Building safer communities through investment in youth programming and employment; 3) Building healthier communities through investments in mental health services and wellness centers, and; 4) Providing quality constituent services. I will continue to host listening sessions and will prioritize ward nights as those will help inform what I prioritize while a legislator.

I welcome your feedback on all issues, and I invite you to contact me at info@the26thward.org or at 773.395.0143. As we transition into office, the temporary office location of the 26th Ward will remain the same, and that address is 2511 W. Division. Please take care, enjoy the summer, and again, thank you for this tremendous opportunity to serve. I look forward to talking with you soon.

Sincerely,

Jessie Fuentes
